Description
"Stores more resources."

Stockpiles stores up to 990 of any combination of Wood, Stone, Charcoal, Iron, Tools, and Armaments.

By comparison a Small Stockpile can hold up to any combination of 240 of the same resources as a Stockpile. A Dock can store up to any combination of 630 resources including Food. Transport Ships can hold up to 270 of any combination of the same types of resources as Docks.

The amount of each resource stored at a particular Stockpile can be adjusted by clicking on the stockpile to bring up the stockpile's information panel. If you want to prevent a resource from being stored at a particular Stockpile, change the desired number for that resource to zero. This won't force Stockpile workers to move any existing resources stored there, but prevents that resource from being stored there going forward.

Stockpile workers automatically collect resources from nearby Buildings and move them to the Stockpile. For example, they would go to a nearby Forester to collect the wood so that the storage at the Forester does not fill up. Stockpile workers also collect any resources on the ground like Wood from clear cutting or resources left behind after demolishing another building.

Stockpiles can then be used as supply points of the rest of the kingdoms needs. Ideally Stockpiles are built between where resources are produced and the buildings where the resources are being used.
